Concert Series

About our Concert Series


Our concert season is comprised of the “Concerts in the Glebe Series” and, for the exceptional pre-professional, the “Young Artists Series”. The season runs September-May, with concerts on selected Sunday afternoons at 2:30. Concert programs about one hour length (intermission optional) represent varied genres.

Glebe-St. James as a Performance Venue


Glebe-St. James United Church is centrally located in Ottawa, and offers exceptional acoustics, large performance area, and a seating capacity of 300. Our sanctuary contains a three manual Casavant organ (ca. 1929; recently refurbished and re-voiced), with a full pedal board and range of couplers, a Steinway baby grand piano, and recently updated sound and lighting systems.

Remuneration: 70% of ticket sales. Ticket prices are normally $15 (adult)/ $10 (student/senior), for the “Concerts in the Glebe Series” and $10/$7 for the “Young Artists Series”. Glebe-St. James has a ‘no barriers’ policy, offering admission by donation, or complementary tickets through the Minister.

For consideration, please submit concert or performance proposals that include a short biography of performers (500 words max. total), program description and length by June 30th.
