Rev. Dr. Teresa Burnett-Cole is on her sabbatical leave until September.
This Earth Sunday service will be lead by the Rev. Sue Toller. Liz Elton will welcome us, and David Brown will offer the land acknowledgement. Rev. Sue Toller will give the Theme Conversation for children and adults. Donna-Fay Mailhot will read the scripture: Genesis 1:1-28
Our Minister of Music, James Caswell and the choir will lead us in music and song; the anthem will be "A Song of Joyful Praise".
Today, we will reflect on the phrase "care for the earth" and whether it is still adequate to describe the role of all of us, including faith groups, in relation to our planet in the face of 'global heating'.
