Patchwork Pilgrimage 2022

We Quilt Again!

After a pandemic pause… Glebe-St. James United Church invites you to Patchwork Pilgrimage at Gracefield Christian Camp & Retreat Centre Gracefield, Quebec (map)!

Here is the brochure for this year’s quilt retreat at Gracefield Christian Camp and Retreat Centre, so you can print it out, complete and return the registration, and start packing! The retreat will be held from September 16 to 18.

A few things have changed at Gracefield. Like everything else these days, the prices are up a little. We try to break even so have to pass that along to participants and this year’s fees are $200 for two nights and six meals. We will also be supplying a project kit for English Paper Piecing.

The camp will provide one pillow and bottom sheet for each bed. You will need to bring bed linen and a blanket for your bed. Why not bring a quilt for show and tell that will keep you warm at night?

Unfortunately we cannot have young children at the retreat this year. However, older children (10 and up) are welcome to stay with their parent or guardian and learn how to sew and quilt.

We are looking forward to seeing all your lovely faces after such a long pandemic pause. Stay safe this summer and we’ll see you in September.

Cheers,

Chris Burbridge & Judy Wolanski
