Please join us for the Second Sunday of Advent for our Christmas Café!
If you are able, please join us in person this Sunday, December 8th for our Christmas Café (Second Sunday of Advent). Of course, livestreaming will also be an option for those who can't make it in person.
Today we celebrate the Second Sunday of Advent in which we place emphasis on Peace. Our service will take place in the more informal setting of Fraser Hall as we sit at tables in small groups and the choir will sit among you! AND there will be carols sung from our Christmas carol book with requests from the floor!
Rev. Doc. Teresa Burnett-Cole will preside. Susan Palmai will welcome us, Wendy Bergeron and will offer the land acknowledgement. The Rev. Sue Toller will lead the Theme Conversation for children and adults. Donna Fay Mailhot will read the scripture: Luke 3:1-6. Our Minister of Music, James Caswell and the choir will lead us in music and song as usual; the Gift of Music will be "Prepare ye the way of the Lord" (Schwartz - Godspell version!).
