A Typical Sunday at Glebe-St. James
List of Services
-
10:30am - Sunday Worship ServiceList Item 4
Arrive by either the Lyon Street or one of two First Ave doors (one accessible by ramp) - greeters are standing by! Worship usually takes place in the Sanctuary, but is occasionally moved to Fraser hall for special services.
In July and August, we celebrate shared ecumenical worship services at 10am with sister congregations Southminster United, 4th Avenue Baptist and St. Giles Presbyterian. A schedule will be posted!
-
Children's Church
Kids start the 10:30 service with their parents in the sanctuary but during the service will be invited to join our Christian Development Minister for Children's Church. Crafts, bible stories and more!
Our Nursary Attendant is also standing by to take care of the wee ones.
-
11:30am - Coffee & Conversation
Coffee, Tea, Juice and nut-free treats. There will even be a birthday cake once a month. Meet, greet and learn more about the goings-on at GStJ. Special green mugs are reserved for visitors and newcomers alike!
-
12:30pm - Women's Intergenerational Group
About once a month, the Women's Intergenerational Group (WIG) meets for a lunch potluck and thought-provoking conversation. Join us - there's always plenty of food to go around!
-
3pm - Labyrinth Walk
The third Sunday of every month, 3-5pm, come find your quiet centre by walking the labyrinth in Fraser Hall.
