Shared Summer Services with our Sister Congregations

Each summer four neighborhood congregations share in ecumenical summer services! Join your GSJ community and our sister congregations each Sunday for a new experience. The links below take you to each of the church websites, which will take you to their iteration of a live-streamed service. While most services are at 10:30, note that the services at Fourth Avenue Baptist are at 10:45.

Check the e-Updates or the links below for new details as they arise!
  • July 3, 10, 17th 10:30 am at Glebe-St. James United
Online at www.glebestjames.ca or in person (see COVID protocols below) - there will be posts for each service with the YouTube and bulletin links available each week by clicking on the blue "Worship Online" button on the homepage!
In person: Fourth Avenue is open to 75 people. Please enter using the Bank Street entrance, and exit using the Fourth Avenue doors. Note that masks are required, and it is requested that you sanitize your hands on arrival. Social distancing (2 metres) is in effect.

Online: We continue to record services and stream them on Facebook Live on Sunday mornings at 10:45am. You can view past services on Facebook and YouTube anytime.
In person at 10:30 am at Southminster United Church our very own Hilda Sabadash will be leading the service. It will also be available online, with links to be found on the Southminster website.

Glebe-St. James COVID protocol for those attending in person:
    • Masks must be worn inside the Church building including in the sanctuary during Sunday worship
    • We strongly encourage everyone to get all vaccinations for which they are eligible; we will no longer require proof of vaccination at the door
    • Physical distancing is strongly encouraged. Please respect the comfort zone of others. Ask before sitting beside someone.
    • We will include congregational singing in worship. Please wear a good quality mask if you plan to sing and sit in the centre section of the Sanctuary
    • Not ready to sing – seating is available in the balcony and in the chairs - on the east side of the Sanctuary
