Welcome to Giving and Pageant Sunday - December 15 2024
Please join us in person or online at 10:30 AM as we celebrate Giving Sunday (also Pageant Sunday) this third Sunday of Advent
Today we celebrate the Third Sunday of Advent in which we place emphasis on Joy. We also call this Giving Sunday as we accept gifts for One Plane Away. AND, we are having the annual childrens Christmas Pageant where, in the words of a former Minister, "anything can happen and it most certainly will!". So wear your bath robe or your shepherd outfit or angel halo (there will be some appropriate garb as you enter the sanctuary!).
Rev. Doc. Teresa Burnett-Cole will preside. Marsha Hay Snyder will welcome us and Teresa Burnett-Cole and will offer the land acknowledgement. The Revs. Sue Toller and Janet Nield will lead the pageant for children AND adult participants. Our Minister of Music, James Caswell and the choir (with the congregation) will sing with us from the pews with LOTS of carols to illustrate the Christmas story in the Pageant.
