Please join us this Sunday, April 14, for the third Sunday of Easter

April 14, 2024

Welcome to our service in this third Sunday of Easter with Glebe - St. James - live at 10:30 am, or recorded here for whenever you're best able to join.

Of all the things you could be doing on a Sunday morning, we are so happy that you chose to be here with us in person or online to participate in song, prayer and worship for this third Sunday of Easter.

Hilda Sabadash will preside, Jim Louter will welcome us and David Brown will offer the land acknowledgment. Sue Toller will lead the Theme Conversation for children and adults. Marsha Hay-Snyder will read the scripture: Acts 3:12-19.  Special musical guest Malcolm Horava will be present with his trumpet and will accompany our own Julia Barry in 'Let the bright seraphim' from G. F. Handel, Samson.

Here is the bulletin for the service to follow along with the words of texts, hymns, songs and prayers. You can join the service live at 10:30 am at this YouTube link; after the service ends it will be available to watch as a recording.

Join in on the online offering plate for M&S, Outreach & GSJ operational needs! If donating online, you can indicate on the 'paypal' page where you want your gift to be dedicated. Gifting by means of e-transfer is now accepted using the email: [email protected] (please indicate to which fund you wish your donation to go to).

You can watch the video of the service here on YouTube. If you had trouble getting on to the first link, please click again, as the link address may have been updated to address technical difficulties. Alternately, consider 'subscribing' to the GSJ YouTube channel and use the 'notification' (the 'bell' symbol on the GSJ YouTube channel) to be notified when we go live. If, for any reason, the webcast is interrupted you should still be able to connect by looking for the red 'live' thumb-nail image.

You can now view the weekly announcement slides or on our "What's Happening?" page. Scroll through at your own pace, or let them auto-play - your choice! Sign up for our e-Update to keep up on more of the life and work of the church.

Let us know how we are doing! If you have any ideas, comments or feedback about the online (or in person!) worship experience, please contact the worship committee at: [email protected].
