July 12, 2026 at 10:00 AM - We share this summer service with our neighbourhood churches

July 10, 2026

Welcome to Glebe St James and the second of our joint neighbourhood summer services with St Giles Presbyterian and Southminster United. Service begins at 10:00 am. You can join us in person or on-line.

Welcome to our central Ottawa neighbourhood and the next of our joint summer services. This service is hosted by Glebe St James, but we welcome all visitors including those from our sister congregations St. Giles Presbyterian and Southminster United. A special note about parking and entry to the building - since there will be construction over the summer (roof repair) the small parking lot adjacent to the building will not be available. If you drive, you will need to find on-street parking.  Please enter via the 'rainbow' stairs or the Lyon St (red door) entrance. The main exterior ramp entrance is also available (it provides direct access to the Sanctuary).

Ruth Burnett-Cole, one of our licensed Lay Worship Leaders will be presiding and will acknowledge the land on which we stand.

Wayne MacWhirter will read the announcements and the scripture reading: Matthew 13: 1-9, 18-23

Paul Grose will be leading the music and a 'pop up' choir will help with musical leadership.

Here is the bulletin for the service which allows you to follow along with the words of texts, hymns, songs, and prayers. You can stream the service live at 10:00 am on YouTube.

Join in on the online offering plate for Mission & Service, Outreach & other GSJ operational needs!
