Thanksgiving Sunday - October 11 2026 at 10:30 am
You are most welcome to join us in person or online starting at 10:30 as we give thanks for all the bounty and community we have!

Here's what you can expect at Glebe St-James on this Sunday, October 11th:
- Wendy Bergeron will welcome us.
- Wendy will also acknowledge that the land on which we gather and work is the traditional and ancestral territory of the Algonquin People, unceded and unsurrendered.
- Brad Munro will read the scripture, Luke 17:11-19.
- Rev. Dr. Teresa Burnett-Cole will lead us in worship and will offer a reflection, "Thanksgiving: Gratitude That Gives" and will ask us to ponder 'what do we do with our gratitude?'
- Music Director Paul Grose and the choir will lead us in music and song. The Gift of Music will be "Celtic Thanksgiving" by Joseph Martin (incorporating “This is God’s Wondrous World)
This Sunday's organ prelude is by Colin Mawby (1936-2019), an English organist, choral conductor and composer associated with Westminster cathedral and the National Chamber Choir of Ireland.
The postlude is by Richard Lloyd (1933-2021), a British cathedral organist, choirmaster and composer of Anglican church music.
Here is the bulletin for the service which allows you to follow along with the words of texts, hymns, songs, and prayers. You can stream the service live at 10:30 am on YouTube. The announcements are also available here.
