Join us for the Sixth Sunday of Easter & Baptisms, May 25th at 10:30am

May 24, 2025

Please join us either in person or on-line at 10:30am for the Sixth Sunday of Easter, and to celebrate two baptisms!

Rev. Dr. Teresa Burnett-Cole is on her sabbatical leave until September.

This Sixth Sunday of Easter service will be lead by the Rev. Dr. Steve Moore of Rideau Park United Church. Pam Fitch will welcome us, and Rebecca Dalton will offer the land acknowledgement. Alexa de Grandmont will read the scripture: John 14: 23-29. Our Minister of Music, James Caswell and the choir will lead us in music and song; the anthem will be "Give Us Peace" by Joseph M. Martin.

This Sunday, we are celebrating two baptisms — a beautiful reminder of God's grace and the joy of new life in Christ! Join us in welcoming Anna and Constance into our family of faith.

Here is the bulletin for the service to follow along with the words of texts, hymns, songs and prayers. Unfortunately, we had an unexpected absence of AV helpers for this service and the recording of it did not happen.  Sorry about that.

Join in on the online offering plate for M&S, Outreach & GSJ operational needs! If donating online, you can indicate on the 'paypal' page where you want your gift to be dedicated (our operating fund, capital fund, music fund, or other charity). Gifting by means of e-transfer is now accepted using the email: [email protected] (please indicate to which fund or charity you wish your donation to go to).

You can now view the weekly announcement slides or on our "What's Happening?" page. Scroll through at your own pace, or let them auto-play - your choice! Sign up for our e-Update to keep up on more of the life and work of the church.

Let us know how we are doing! If you have any ideas, comments or feedback about the online (or in person!) worship experience, please contact the worship committee at: [email protected].

One of the great spiritual questions is this: What do we see when we look at other people? Do we see strangers or neighbours? Problems or possibilities? Labels or beloved children of God? The answer matters, because what we see shapes how we live.
