Please join us this Sunday, January 26 for the Third Sunday of Epiphany
We would be pleased if you would join us, either in person or on-line, for the Third Sunday of Epiphany. The service starts at 10:30 am.
Today we will explore Jesus' powerful declaration of his mission in the synagogue at Nazareth, where he claims the ancient prophetic words of Isaiah as his own. As the Body of Christ, we are called to live out this mission—bringing good news, freedom, healing, and justice to all. Join us as we reflect on how we, too, can fulfill this calling in our lives today.
Rev. Dr. Teresa Burnett-Cole will lead the service. Julia Barry will welcome us, Rev. Sue Toller will offer the land acknowledgement and lead the Theme Conversation for children and adults. Andy Hamilton will read the scriptures: 1 Corinthians 12:12-31a and Luke 4:14-21. Our Minister of Music, James Caswell and the choir will lead us in music and song; the anthem will be "We Are the Body of Christ" by Emily Lund.
