Update: Blanket Excercise - February 23rd at 12:30

February 14, 2025

This is an update: there are a few places left for the blanket exercise!

Our February 23 Blanket Exercise is fast approaching and as of today's update, a couple of spots have opened up so if you are not yet registered and are interested in attending, please speak to Dudleigh Coyle or send him an email at [email protected]. This is a wonderful and unique learning experience so grab the opportunity to join us.

Here are some important details about the happenings surrounding this learning event.  Lunch is being offered to everyone in the congregation as part of our regular 11:30 "coffee time" timeslot, whether or not you are joining us for the Blanket Exercise. We are looking forward to a delicious lunch being offered by our Indigenous caterer, Jolene Commanda, of moose stew, wild rice salad, vegan shepherd's pie, and bannock.

If you are participating in the workshop, please be aware that parking permits are available to allow for additional time beyond that usually allowed on the streets surrounding the church. You will need to pick up a permit after church and move your car to a new spot with the parking permit clearly displayed. Finally, please bring indoor shoes to wear during the Blanket Exercise. The workshop is scheduled to start at 1pm and typically lasts between 2 ½ and 3 hours.

If you have any questions, please reach out to any member of the ReconciliAction Working Group.
