Compassionate Welcome from Glebe St James, June 22, 2020

June 28, 2020

GSJ Worship - Sunday, June 22, 2020 - Fourth Sunday after Pentecost

We welcomed licensed lay worship leader Chris Burbridge to lead us in worship this Sunday - the last Sunday before Summer Worship services start! See details about how things will shift a bit for the Summer services on our "What's Happening" page.

We have two videos this week - first the service video, which will be posted just below on Sunday morning by about 8:30am. Secondly, check out this week's Minute for Mission.

Follow along with readings, prayers and the reflection in the bulletin . You can also double check the announcement slides  or the most recent e-Update to see what's happening in our GSJ community.

Though we are physically apart, let us bring our hearts, minds and spirits together in worship!

Minute for Mission - June 28, 2020

This week's Minute for Mission is about a safe house in Nairobi, Kenya for LGBTQ persons fleeing Uganda.Lining up with our mission to be an affirming congregation, and in solidarity with Pride celebrations in some parts of Canada, this video describes work towards full inclusion. Capitol Pride take place in August this year!

If Mission and Service (M&S) is part of your regular givings, thank you! If not, consider making a specified M&S donation - head to the Donate portion of our "How can I help?" page.
