November 12, 2021

Please join us, in person at 650 Lyon Street in Ottawa (please have your proof of vaccination available), or on-line on YouTube for Music Sunday

A warm welcome to all joining us for this service, whether in person or on line, this Sunday, November 14th. This week we will observe the importance of music in our worship at Glebe - St. James.

Our Minister, the Rev. Teresa Burnett-Cole will be away so the service will be led by Nancy Huggett with contributions from several members of the congregation and choir. The scripture is from Psalm 149 and will be read by Barb Munro. James Caswell, Minister of Music, will be joined by choir members, Elizabeth Elton, Pamela Fitch, Shelly Eckford, Jim Louter, David Brown, Julia Barry, and Crystal Maitland to lead us in music and song.

Our service bulletin with hymns, texts and announcements is linked here.

Join in on the virtual offering plate for M&S, Outreach & GSJ operational needs! If you are attending in person, offering plates are available in the Narthex (front hall) of the Sanctuary. If donating online, you can indicate on the 'paypal' page where you want your gift to be dedicated to.

CLICK HERE for the livestream on YouTube at around 10:20 am (announcements) for the 10:30 am Sunday service; after the service you will be able to view a recording on YouTube by clicking the same link or by viewing in the video player below. Please consider 'subscribing' to the GSJ YouTube channel and use the 'notification' (the 'bell' symbol on the GSJ YouTube channel) to be notified when we go live. If, for any reason, the webcast is interrupted you should still be able to connect by looking for the red 'live' thumb-nail image

After services, join us for a zoom coffee hour at 1:00 pm for a chance to meet and greet and touch bases. Remember that the zoom login information is new this fall! The link is listed at the end of the service bulletin, or in the what's happening section of the website.
