Join us for the Third Sunday of Easter, May 4th at 10:30am

May 4, 2025

Please join us either in person or on-line at 10:30am in commemoration of Red Dress Day.

Rev. Dr. Teresa Burnett-Cole is on her sabbatical leave until September.

This Third Sunday of Easter service will be lead by the Rev. Sue Toller. Hilda Sabadash will welcome us, and Wendy Bergeron will offer the land acknowledgement. Rev. Sue Toller will give the Theme Conversation for children and adults. Jim Louter will read the scripture: John 21:1-19.

Our Minister of Music, James Caswell and the choir will lead us in music and song; the anthem will be "Alleluia" by Ralph Manuel.

Today, we will reflect on Red Dress Day and our shared calling to feed, tend, and care for one another in the spirit of Jesus' message to his disciples. As we honour the lives of missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls, and two spirit people, we are reminded that every act of kindness, justice, and solidarity helps build a more loving and compassionate world.

Here is the bulletin for the service to follow along with the words of texts, hymns, songs and prayers. You can join the service live at 10:25 am at this YouTube link; after the service ends it will be available to watch as a recording.
