Please join us for the Second Sunday in Lent - March 16th at 10:30 am

March 16, 2025

Either in person or on-line, be welcomed among us as we gather for National Affirming / PIE Day and the Second Sunday in Lent

Rev. Dr. Teresa Burnett-Cole will lead the service. Susan Palmai will welcome us, and Wendy Bergeron will offer the land acknowledgement. Rev. Sue Toller will give the Theme Conversation for children and adults. Brad Munro will read the scripture: Luke 10: 38-42. Our Minister of Music, James Caswell and the choir will lead us in music and song; the anthem will be "Lord, Who Throughout These Forty Days" by Zebulon M. Highben.

Today, along with celebrating National Affirming / PIE (Public. Intentional. Explicit.) Day, we will reflect on the story of Martha and Mary, where Jesus disrupts our assumptions about faithfulness and hospitality. Will you choose the better part today and allow God's Word to reshape your heart?

Here is the bulletin for the service to follow along with the words of texts, hymns, songs and prayers. You can join the service live at 10:25 am at this YouTube link; after the service ends it will be available to watch as a recording.

Join in on the online offering plate for M&S, Outreach & GSJ operational needs!
