Fifth Sunday of Easter - May 3, 2026
It's also Mental Health Sunday, part of the church’s effort to create communities of radical belonging for all people, including those living with mental health challenges.

Here's what you can expect at Glebe St-James on the Fifth Sunday in Easter:
- Rev. Dr. Teresa Burnett-Cole will welcome us.
- Pam Fitch will acknowledge that the land on which we gather and work is the traditional and ancestral territory of the Algonquin People, unceded and unsurrendered.
- Ruth Burnett-Cole will read the scripture, John 14:1-10.
- Rev. Dr. Teresa Burnett-Cole will lead us in worship.
- Our Minister of Music, Paul Grose, and the choir will share "The Untroubled Heart" as a Gift of Music.
- "When In Our Music God Is Glorified" is based on the tune ENGELBERG, found in Voices United #533. If you listen carefully to the ending, you may make out the melody from the "Hallelujah" banner hanging at the front of thesanctuary. The setting is by Sue Mitchell Wallace (b.1944), a Georgia, U.S.-based Episcopal church organistwho just retired last year.
- "Trumpet Postlude" by Rex Koury uses a registration that combines bright German and French flutes, reeds and diapasons.
Here is the bulletin for the service which allows you to follow along with the words of texts, hymns, songs, and prayers. You can stream the service live at 10:30 am on YouTube.
