Please join us this Sunday, June 22nd for our Indigenous Sunday Service

June 20, 2025

Yes we back in the Sanctuary after our 100th anniversary service with EOORC last week.  Join us in person or on  line at 10:30.  We will be happy to see you.

Rev. Dr. Teresa Burnett-Cole is on her sabbatical leave until September.

In Rev. Teresa's absence, this Indigenous Sunday service will be lead by the Rev. Dr. Steve Moore of Rideau Park United Church. This is the last service that Rev. Steve will lead with us so we will bid him goodbye in the Service.  We will also honour Rev. Susan Toller as she will be leaving us at the end of August (Rev. Sue will still be leading three summer services, shared with other churches in the Glebe, that will be hosted by Glebe St James).   Hilda Sabadash will welcome us, and Konrad Hurrelmann will offer the land acknowledgement. George Ledrew will read the scripture: Genesis 32: 9-12; 22-32 - 33: 1-4. Our Minister of Music, James Caswell and the choir will lead us in music and song; the anthem will be "Gracious Spirit, dwell with me", arr. by K. Lee Scott.

Stay after the service for our annual Strawberry Social!

Here is the bulletin for the service to follow along with the words of texts, hymns, songs and prayers. You can join the service live at 10:25 am at this YouTube link; after the service ends it will be available to watch as a recording.

Join in on the online offering plate for M&S, Outreach & GSJ operational needs! If donating online, you can indicate on the 'paypal' page where you want your gift to be dedicated (our operating fund, capital fund, music fund, or other charity).
