Wet'suwet'en and Climate Change: Womens Intergenerational Group (WIG) and ReconciliAction Meeting.

As a conclusion to the Climate Change conversations Sue Toller has been leading on Tuesday evenings, she will lead a discussion about the Wet'suwet'en opposition to pipeline construction and its relationship with climate change. This conversation will replace the WIG meeting, is open to anyone who may be interested, and will be held after church on Sunday, February 18.

Please bring a lunch and we'll watch a video and discuss ways to show solidarity, which may include writing letters and signing petitions. If you would like to watch the video ahead of the meeting, you can find it at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D3R5Uy5O_Ds

We would also like to make you aware that there are other perspectives of the situation on the Wet'suwet'en land; for example, please see the CBC reporting
