Join us this Sunday, Oct 19 for our Café Church Service at 10:30 in Fraser Hall

October 17, 2025

Please join us in person (or on-line) for this service.  In person preferred if you wish to join in on the discussion in small groups.

The format of this informal service will be different from what we are used to - you can get up and get coffee whenever you wish!  After the message from Rev. Teresa, there will be three 'circle' discussion groups led by Liz, Marsha and Pam to chat and reflect on what Glebe St James means to you (What do you love about GSJ? What Keeps You Here?; What roles/tasks have you taken on in the past?; What keeps you from volunteering now? What could you do now?).

Rev. Dr. Teresa Burnett-Cole will lead the service. Pam Fitch will welcome us, and Wendy Bergeron will offer the land acknowledgement. Brad Munro will read the scripture: 1 Corinthians 12:4-13. Our Minister of Music, James Caswell and the choir will lead us in music and song from among the people.

Here is the bulletin for the service to follow along with the words of texts, hymns, songs and prayers. The video for this service did not go well but we have a 38 minute clip to share with you.

Join in on the online offering plate for M&S, Outreach & GSJ operational needs! If donating online, you can indicate on the 'paypal' page where you want your gift to be dedicated (our operating fund, capital fund, music fund, or other charity). Gifting by means of e-transfer is now accepted using the email: [email protected] (please indicate to which fund or charity you wish your donation to go to).

You can now view the weekly announcement slides or on our "What's Happening?" page. Scroll through at your own pace, or let them auto-play - your choice! Sign up for our e-Update to keep up on more of the life and work of the church.

Let us know how we are doing! If you have any ideas, comments or feedback about the online (or in person!) worship experience, please contact the worship committee at: [email protected].
