Reign of Christ & New Members Sunday
Join us on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. either in person or online for this service.

In 1925, as the world was being gripped by nationalist, secularist, anti-Semitic, authoritarian, fascist dictators, Pope Pius XI instituted Christ the King Sunday to refocus us on why we are here – to be icons of God’s love in this world.
Here's what you can expect at Glebe St-James this Sunday:
- Rev. Dr. Teresa Burnett-Cole will lead the service.
- Jim Louter will welcome us.
- Wendy Bergeron will acknowledge that the land on which we gather and work is the traditional and ancestral territory of the Algonquin People, unceded and unsurrendered.
- Together we will celebrate five new members of our community.
- Ruth Burnett-Cole will read the scripture from Luke 23:33-43.
- Our Minister of Music, James Caswell, and the choir will lead us in music and song; the Gift of Music will be "Lord of life and King of glory" by Michel Angelo Grancini, edited Richard Proulx.
Here is the bulletin for the service to follow along with the words of texts, hymns, songs, and prayers. You can join the service live at 10:25 am on YouTube; after the service ends, it will be available to watch as a recording.
