Baptism & Quilting Sunday - November 16, 2025
Join us on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. either in person or online for this service.
The sacrament of baptism proclaims and celebrates the grace of God.
Here's what you can expect at Glebe St-James this Sunday:
- Rev. Dr. Teresa Burnett-Cole will lead the service.
- Wayne MacWhirter will welcome us.
- David Brown will acknowledge that the land on which we gather and work is the traditional and ancestral territory of the Algonquin People, unceded and unsurrendered.
- Together we will celebrate the baptism of Lilah Joan Story.
- We will also honour the work of the many quilters, many from Glebe St. James, who have prepared baby quilts for St. Mary's Home. Here is a short video of the quilts that were on display.
- April Yorke will read the scripture from Luke 21:5-19.
- Our Minister of Music, James Caswell, and the choir will lead us in music and song; the Gift of Music will be "O Sing Joyfully" by Adrian Batten.
